School Choice

The NJCC reinforces the fundamental rights of parents by supporting government initiatives to fund the education of children in schools of their parents’ choice, including such models as corporate education tax savings account, scholarship initiatives, and vouchers.

S-1872 passed the Senate Economic Growth Committee on May 13, 2010 and was referred to the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee. A-2810, the Assembly version, was introduced and referred to the Assembly Education Committee. On June 25, 2010 it was moved from the Assembly Education Committee to the Assembly Commerce and Economic Development Committee. A new Alert has been issued.
