  1. Letter writing campaign (Present until June 13, 2005)

 

    1. Targeted audience: Governor’s Office and state Legislators (local Assemblymen and Assemblywomen and State Senators).

 

    1. Constituents to organize:

                                                             i.      CEOs, Executive Directors, Board of Trustees, Senior Staff, Parish Social Ministry Directors, Church leaders and advocates for the poor.

 

 

  1. Postcard Campaign (Present until June 13, 2005)

 

    1. Targeted audience: Governor and State Legislators (see above)

 

    1. Constituents to organize

                                                             i.      Employees

                                                          ii.      Patients, clients, parishioners

 

    1. Locations to carryout campaign

                                                             i.      In hospitals, and agencies

                                                          ii.      Clinics

                                                        iii.      Shelters, Emergency Services

 

 

  1. Prayer Vigil, June 13, 2005 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., State House, Trenton

 

    1. Theme: “Preserving New Jersey’s Endangered Safety Net”

 

    1. Target is about 250-500 people.  Each organization is asked to commit to bringing people to the rally.
